High School Retreat

Midland Classical Academy takes a High School Retreat each September to Deer Creek Camp in the hill country of Texas. Students in grades 9-12 go to a camp setting for a week of relationship building, teaching, and fun. The Juniors and Seniors leave for the camp on a Monday and come back on a Friday and the Sophomores and Freshmen come down on Tuesday and return on Friday. The students enjoy games, a challenge by choice ropes course, talks twice a day, and time to slow down and get to know their classmates and tutors. All talks are led by tutors and all activities are facilitated by MCA and Deer Creek Staff. We emphasize two main Biblical principles: Love God and Love others. This is modeled by the tutors, Deer Creek Staff, and students. This is a great opportunity for discipleship, teaching, and enjoying God’s creation.
